SCHEDULE UPDATE!

The American Corner is CLOSED Thursday, November 27 for Thanksgiving. Since you can't come read and chat with me at the AC, why don't you try having a Thanksgiving celebration of your own? All you need is some good friends and good food - assemble both the food and friends at the table, take a moment to consider what you are thankful for this year, and eat like crazy - then you will have celebrated a real American-style Thanksgiving!

If you're still reading this post, you're probably serious about this whole Thanksgiving thing. If you really want to make a Thanksgiving meal, check out these recipes for traditional foods that American families eat on this holiday! Here they are for your convenience. Just click on the food for a link to the recipe. Enjoy! Oh, and feel free to bring me leftovers when the American Corner reopens on Friday...
Turkey
Pumpkin Pie
Stuffing
Mashed Potatoes
Gravy
Cranberry Sauce
Sweet Potato Casserole with Marshmallows
