Have you heard of the “OPPORTUNITY GRANT”?

The Opportunity grant, funded by the U.S. Department of State, is designed to support the application process to U.S. higher education institutions for students who are highly qualified but are unable to cover expenses related to the application process. To be eligible for funding, students must be applying to degree programs (BA/BS, LLM, MA/MS, MBA, Ph.D., etc.). The Opportunity grant offers no guarantees of acceptance or financial aid at U.S. institutions.
The OG funding may cover expenses including, but not limited to: test preparation classes, test fees, application fees, postage expenses, visa fees, travel to the US, settling-in allowance. All awards decisions are made on a case by case basis.
