Special Film Friday: September 3

What: We have a special film viewing. On this Friday, we will watch a documentary for 1 hour. That will be followed by another hour of discussion of the film. The film we will be watching and discussion is a 20/20 documentary, entitled Race and Sex: What We Think But Don't Say.

American Corner Slight Time Changes for Ramadan

The American Corner's hours and timing for events will change slightly during Ramadan as follows. These times will begin starting Wednesday, August 11:

American Corner open from: 8:30 - 14:30 from Monday-Friday

English Conversation Hours: 13:00 on Tuesday and Thursday

Film Showing: 12:00 on Friday

Volunteering Meeting at 2:30PM TOMORROW (Thursday, July 29) at the AC

Ikram Ben Said from Amal Association will be coming. We will be working out an exact program and schedule of our volunteering efforts. By the end of the meeting, my goal is to have her approve of our volunteer plans and set a date for us to visit the Amal Association and start volunteering as soon as possible.

This meeting will start after our regular English conversation hour ends. All are invited to attend.
