In honor of Women’s History Month, the American Corner will offer a special film screening of Iron Jawed Angels. This is an excellent film, starring Hilary Swank, that outlines the American women ’s suffrage movement.

March is Women's History Month!

The purpose of Women's History Month is to increase consciousness and knowledge of women's history: to take one month of the year to remember the contributions of notable and ordinary women, in hopes that the day will soon come when it's impossible to teach or learn history without remembering these contributions.

Stop by the American Corner to learn about the American Women's Suffrage Movement or about the women who changed America.

All events will be held in the American Corner and will begin at 4pm

New Additions at the AC!

In addition to having great books and DVDs, the American Corner now has board games for its users! Although these games can not be taken home, you are welcome to stop by with some friends and enjoy the games here! We now have Catch Phrase, Balderdash, Scrabble, and Taboo. Not only are all these games fun, but they will also help improve your english!!
